1) ABOUT MALENE

Q1. What is Malene?
Malene is a Taiwan‑developed skincare brand distributed in Malaysia by A Thousand Milestone Sdn. Bhd. (ATM).  We focus on science‑backed, family‑safe formulas.

Q2. What makes Malene different?

Two things:
(1) our patented silver nano technology (called TAg) for physical antibacterial care that helps keep skin calm and clear;

(2) a strict clean‑formulation standard (no SLS/SLES, petrochemicals, or synthetic fragrance) with mild essential oils only.

Q3. What product lines do you have?
Two series:
(1) Pure Clean (daily gentle care: cleanse, balance, soothe, brighten)
(2) Re Stem (anti‑aging, repair: firming, radiance, even tone)

Q4. Who is Malene for?
Sensitive/reactive skin, acne or eczema‑prone users, parents shopping for teens/kids, and ingredient‑conscious users who want gentle but effective routines.

2) SAFETY, CLEAN FORMULAS & COMPLIANCE

Q5. Are Malene products safe for sensitive skin and all ages?
Yes, our daily‑care formulas are designed to be gentle and are positioned as suitable for family sharing (including kids). As always, patch‑test first for very reactive skin.

Q6. Do you use fragrance?
We avoid synthetic perfumes. Where scent is present, we use essential oils only. (Re‑Stem series uses Peony essential oil.)

Q7. Are the products compliant in Malaysia?
Yes. All SKUs distributed in Malaysia carry valid NPRA notifications.

Q8. Are the Defence Spray and soaps alcohol‑free?
Defence Spray is alcohol‑free. Our handmade soaps are cold‑processed and naturally cured ~60 days (no chemical hardeners/colors).
 
Q9. Any precautions?
External use only. Avoid eye contact. Patch test new items 24 hours on the jawline if you are highly sensitive. If irritation persists, stop use and consult a professional.

3) INGREDIENT BASICS (INCI)
Q10. What is INCI?
INCI stands for International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients - the standardized way to name ingredients on labels globally (e.g., “Glycerin,” “Niacinamide”).

Q11. What is TAg, Silver Nano Particles?
A hydrophilic nano‑silver system that physically binds/deactivates microbes on skin surfaces, helping keep skin clearer and calmer without harshness.

Q12. Why do you use essential oils instead of synthetic fragrance?
To minimize common irritants. Essential oils offer a mild natural scent while keeping formulas clean.

4) ROUTINES & HOW TO USE (QUICK GUIDES)

Q13. Basic Pure Clean routine (all‑skin, AM/PM).
1) Cleanse: Pure Clean Facial Soap (face) or Pure Clean Soap (body).
2) Shield: Pure Clean Defence Spray (spray, let settle 10–20 sec).
3) Hydrate: Pure Clean Toner → Pure Clean Essence → Pure Clean Lotion.
4) Daytime add‑on: UV Protector Blemish Balm or Sunscreen Lotion.

Q14. Basic Re‑Stem routine (glow/firm).
AM: Re Stem Toner → Re Stem Vita Essence → Re Stem Radiance Lotion → SPF.
PM: Re Stem Toner → Re Stem High Concentrate Mask (2–3×/wk) → Re Stem Radiance Lotion.

Q15. Where does Defence Spray go in routine?
Right after cleansing and before toner/essence. It creates a breathable protective layer.

Q16. Tips for sensitive skin starts:
Introduce one new product at a time, every 3–5 days. Keep actives low at first; focus on cleanse-shield-hydrate.

5) TROUBLESHOOTING

Q17. Purging vs irritation - how to tell?
Purging: temporary increase in small breakouts where you typically get acne, usually with actives (AHA/retinoids); settles in 2–4 weeks.
Irritation: burning, persistent redness, itching/flaking outside your usual breakout zones - stop or reduce frequency.

Q18. What if my skin feels tight after washing?
Use less friction, shorten lather time, rinse with cool water. Follow with Defence Spray then Toner/Essence/Lotion promptly.

Q19. Can kids/babies use Defence Spray?
Positioned as suitable for sensitive users including children; avoid eyes. For babies/toddlers, use minimal amounts as needed.

Q20. Masks/retinoids with Re‑Stem?
Alternate nights if using strong actives; always use SPF by day.

6) PURE CLEAN SERIES (PRODUCT FAQs)

A) Pure Clean Facial Soap

Q21. What is it?
A 60‑day cured bar with pineapple enzyme (bromelain) + TAg to dissolve old keratin and help reduce clogged pores/blackheads while brightening.

Q22. How to use?
Wet bar → creamy lather → massage in circles → rinse → pat dry → Defence Spray.

Q23. Who benefits most?
Acne‑prone/sensitive, eczema concerns, those seeking brightening (esp. 40–50+).

Q24. Cautions?
Stop and consult a professional if irritation occurs.

B) Pure Clean Soap (Body/All‑over)

Q25. What is it?
Handmade, naturally cured ~60 days; mild, non‑tightening cleanse for face/body; TAg for deep purification and balance.

Q26. How to use?
Lather on wet skin, leave foam ~20 sec, rinse.

C) Pure Clean Total Effects All‑Day Defence Spray

Q27. What is it?
An alcohol‑free, high‑concentration TAg mist for antibacterial + deodorizing + repair support; appears golden from nano‑silver (5–40 nm).

Q28. How long does it last?
Up to ~10 hours on skin unless rinsed; reapply every 3–4 hours if needed.

Q29. Where can I use it?
Face/body (avoid eyes), mask hygiene, no‑rinse hands, baby/intimate care, shoes/socks, phones, etc.
 
Q30. When to apply?
First step after cleansing, before toner/essence/lotion.

D) Pure Clean Toner

Q31. What does it do?
Purify & balance, deeply hydrate, soothe & support repair (Crystalide™ peptide + Madecassoside + TAg), targeting redness, roughness, and clogged pores.

Q32. How to use?
After Defence Spray, pat over face/neck AM & PM with up to 10hours protection barrier.

E) Pure Clean Essence

Q33. What does it do?
Hydrating, soothing, barrier‑supporting treatment layered after toner and before lotion; powered by TAg + Madecassoside/Crystalide‑family actives.

F) Pure Clean Lotion

Q34. What does it do?
Lightweight, fast‑absorbing moisturiser that relieves dryness‑related redness; delivers balance + deep hydration + soothing repair.

G) Pure Clean Shampoo

Q35. What is it?
Minimalist silicone‑free shampoo to cleanse follicles, remove buildup/oil, soothe scalp and add volume/shine; nourished by lecithin instead of dimethicone.

Q36. How to use?
Wet hair → lather/massage with fingertips → rinse.

7) RE STEM SERIES (PRODUCT FAQs)

A) Re‑Stem Toner

Q37. What does it do?
A water‑essence toner to instantly hydrate, calm and refine; designed for all skin types (dull/tired/uneven skin). Uses humectants + soothing actives.

Q38. How to use?
Daily method: press onto face/neck AM & PM.
Mask method: soak cotton pads; apply 5 minutes to targeted areas.

Q39. Sensitive skin okay?
Formulated to be gentle; contains fragrance/Peony EO—patch test first if very reactive.

B) Re‑Stem Vita Essence

Q40. What does it do?
Concentrated vitamin treatment (C + B3 + E + A) with peptide + ectoin to brighten, firm and hydrate; helps “restart” dull, plateaued skin.

Q41. How to use?
Apply 1–2 pumps after toner, AM/PM; use SPF by day.

C) Re‑Stem Radiance Lotion

Q42. What does it do?
Lightweight yet nourishing emulsion. 4% niacinamide + 1% vitamin C (SAP) + ectoin + peptide to improve glow, firmness and hydration. Safe around eye contour per visuals.

D) Re‑Stem High Concentrate Mask

Q43. What is the program?
28‑day reboot: Weeks 1–2 every 2 days (3×/week), Weeks 3–4 every 3 days (2×/week); then 1–3×/week for maintenance.

Q44. How to apply?
Peel mesh → fit mask → remove backing → leave 15–20 min → pat in essence → seal with Radiance Lotion.

Q45. Precautions?
Patch test if sensitive; due to retinyl palmitate, consider avoiding during pregnancy unless approved by a healthcare professional; always use SPF by day.

Q46. What are they?
